At the machine, via smartphone, with a season ticket, or automatically: here is a step-by-step guide on how to pay for your parking at Mobility Hub.

At the machine, on your phone or automatically in the background: Mobility Hub offers several ways to pay for parking. Available options depend on the location. Here's what each method offers and how to use it.

Payment methods at a glance

Pay on site, use your phone, buy a pass for regular parking or let Automatic Payment handle payment. Here are the options in detail.

At the payment machine

Pay directly at the machine in the parking area.

Why choose this option?

  • No smartphone or internet connection needed
  • Cash and card payment available on site
  • Apply discounts by scanning a QR code
  • Pay shortly before leaving

How it works

1. Choose your parking option

Depending on the location, choose "I'm leaving" to pay for your actual parking time or "Day ticket" for a time-based ticket.

For payment based on duration, pay shortly before leaving. You can buy a time-based ticket after arrival or before exit. The system records parking digitally, without manual checks during your stay.

2. Enter and confirm your license plate

Enter your license plate at the machine. After four characters, it suggests matching license plates to save time. You can also enter the complete plate yourself.

Confirm your entry to see the details of your parking session.

3. Optional: apply a discount

Have a discount? Select the relevant button on the screen and hold your QR code in front of the reader. The machine confirms whether the code is valid.

4. Pay for your stay

Depending on the machine, you can pay with a debit or credit card, by contactless card, with Apple Pay or Google Pay, or with coins.

The machine confirms your payment and can provide a receipt on request. It then shows how much time you have to leave the parking area.

On your own smartphone

Mobile Payment lets you pay directly on your phone. Pay shortly before leaving, for example on the way to your car, or up to 24 hours afterwards where post-payment is available.

Why choose this option?

  • No walk or queue at the payment machine
  • No app installation or registration needed
  • Forgot to pay? At many locations, you can pay online up to 24 hours after leaving
  • A choice of payment methods

How it works

1. Enter your license plate

Scan the QR code displayed at the parking location to open https://parken.mh-parkservice.de/. Enter your license plate, with no app or registration required.

Your current parking session appears directly. The page also shows if your stay is still free or covered by Automatic Payment. If so, no further action is needed.

If you've already left and are still within the 24-hour payment window, you'll see your unpaid parking sessions.

2. Pay the parking fee

Select "Pay now" to pay by credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna Pay Now.

3. Receive confirmation and your receipt

After payment, your receipt is sent to you automatically by email.

Regular parking tickets in the online shop

Park at the same location regularly, perhaps as an employee or resident? The Mobility Hub online shop offers ticket types for regular parking. You can find the link for your location through your organisation's intranet, for example.

Why choose this option?

  • No walk or queue at the payment machine
  • Choose a ticket that suits your needs
  • No app installation needed
  • No separate payment each time you enter
  • A reminder before your ticket expires or your credit runs out
  • A choice of payment methods

How it works

1. Register

Register in the online shop with your email address.

2. Choose a parking ticket

After registering, the home page shows the available options. These may include Automatic Payment, monthly or annual passes, multi-use tickets and time-limited tickets, such as evening parking for residents.

3. Optional: choose a start time

Depending on the ticket type, you'll be asked to choose when it should start.

4. Enter your license plate

Enter one or more license plates. A ticket can only be used by one registered vehicle at a time, never by several simultaneously.

5. Pay and confirm

Pay by credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna Pay Now. Your purchase is confirmed after payment, and your receipt is sent by email.

6. Email reminder

You'll receive a reminder four days before a time-based ticket expires, or shortly before a multi-use ticket's credit runs out. You can then buy another ticket if needed.

Automatic Payment

Register in the online shop and activate Automatic Payment once. Future parking payments are handled automatically, so you don't have to remember to pay each time.

Why choose this option?

  • Drive in, park and drive out, without paying manually
  • No app installation needed
  • See all current and past parking sessions in your account
  • An email confirmation with the parking fee after each exit
  • One combined monthly bill instead of separate payments for every stay
  • A choice of payment methods

How it works

1. Register

Register in the online shop with your email address. Your employer or landlord can provide the link, or you can use the QR code at the parking location.

2. Activate Automatic Payment once

Add your license plate numbers and choose a payment method: credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna Pay Now. Once the payment method is authorised, we'll confirm that Automatic Payment is active.

3. Drive in, park and drive out

Each parking session starts and ends automatically. Your account shows current and completed sessions, including the date, duration, amount and license plate number.

After each exit, you receive an email confirming that your session has ended and showing the parking fee.

The previous month's parking is billed at the start of the next month. You pay one combined amount rather than separately for each stay.

Avoid common mistakes

A few small details can prevent payment from working. Here's what to check:

  • Incorrect license plate: check your entry before confirming it.
  • Missed reminder: renew your regular parking ticket in time, or the standard tariff will apply after it expires.
  • Expired payment method: keep your Automatic Payment details up to date so automatic charges can go through.
  • A different vehicle: update your license plate or add another in your online account so Automatic Payment or your parking pass still applies.

In summary

At the machine, on your phone, with a regular parking ticket or automatically: choose a payment option that fits your stay. Check the signs on site or the property owner's website to see which methods are available at your location.
